This week in nursery we have been getting 'out and about' and visiting different places in the local environment. We take the children out to extend their knowledge of the world and to get them talking. We have visited Mile End Park to look at the different features of the park. We went to Stepney City Farm to see the animals and Whitechapel Market to buy vegetables. We are learning about healthy eating and next week we will make delicious soup! When we go out, we talk lots and learn lots of new words. We develop the confidence to be curious and explore the world, starting close to home and then beyond.
