Today we held a very successful Bike Day when children brought their bikes and scooters to nursery. This event is part of our Travel Plan action which encourages sustainable travel. Many children took part and were very kind about sharing their bikes and scooters with their friends. They labelled their bikes (Literacy), developed their cycling skills (Physical Development), celebrated a special event with friends (Understanding the World) and shared with each other (Personal, Social and Emotional Development). We also made a collection for Unicef as part of our work on Rights Respecting Schools.
