Tour at Ragged School Museum

1/5/2018

The children were taken on a tour of the Victorian kitchen and learned about how the Victorians washed their clothes in a big tub, heated their irons on the fire and had hot bricks instead of hot water bottles (Understanding the World). We helped mend the Victorian shoes and we climbed lots of wooden stairs (Physical Development). We listened carefully (Communication and Language) and we took turns (Personal Social and Emotional Development). On the way to the museum we saw the baby coots on the canal, spotted dandelions and daisies, saw two police horses and watched the postman delivering letters.
You have the right to find out things and share what you think with others, by talking, drawing, writing or in any other way unless it harms or offends other people.
